Sprat Point

Also known as: Spratt Point · Sprat

Sprat Point lies a few minutes from Charlotte Amalie harbour and is dived when the sea is calm. Big coral formations create swim-throughs lit by the sun and overhangs that shelter small fish and crustaceans, and the reef is shaped into little valleys, ridges, trenches and small caverns. Being shallow, it often serves as the second dive of a trip after one of the deep wrecks nearby, such as the WIT Concrete or the Miss Opportunity. Zentacle reports heavy fishing pressure, so the fish life does not match the impressive topography.
