Cartanza Señora
Also known as: Cartanser Senior · Cartanser Sr. · Cartanza Sr. · Cartanzar Senior
The Cartanza Señora carried cargo during the Second World War and later between the islands before she was abandoned and placed at Buck Island as an artificial reef in 1979. Hurricanes broke her into three pieces that now lie in and around Buck Island Cove, with the engines still visible. The shallow depth makes the wreck suitable for novice divers and even snorkellers. Sergeant majors guard purple egg patches on the hull, yellowhead jawfish hover over their burrows nearby, and yellowtail snappers, angelfish, groupers, eels and turtles are common. The dive is often combined with the neighbouring Wye Reef.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
