Calf Rock

Calf Rock lies beside Cow Rock but is dived as a separate site. Instead of its neighbour's tunnels it offers ledges and cracks where green morays and lobsters hide, and one overhang that shelters dozens of fairy basslets. Soft corals, gorgonians and stands of elkhorn coral cover the surrounding reef. Clear water and the shallow depth make it a favourite with underwater photographers, and nurse sharks are reported in the crevices.
