Chain

Chain lies on the seaward side of Anton's at the southern end of 2 Mile Reef, reached by a short swim across a sandy gully called Zambie Alley. It is named after a ship's anchor chain, which has now largely grown into the reef. Because fewer divers visit it than the neighbouring sites, its corals are in very good condition. Carpet anemones are common, and razor wrasse and ribbon eels are occasional sightings.
