Passe de Miri Miri

Also known as: Miri Pass · Pass of Miri

Passe de Miri Miri is a pass of Raiatea. Tahiti Tourisme presents it as a drift dive where grey reef sharks, barracudas and many jacks are met. Te Mara Nui offers two dives here: a drift with barracudas, trevallies, batfish and leopard rays, and a dive around three big coral-covered rocks frequented by whitetip reef sharks. That second dive continues along a drop-off of purple Distichopora coral with emperor and regal angelfish.
