Sharks Bay
Also known as: Shark's Bay · Shark Bay
Sharks Bay is a shore dive with a coral plateau from about 5 m that drops off around 20 m. On the south-western side a deep sandy canyon falls away well beyond recreational depth and is used for technical diving. Manta Divers explains the name with fishermen who once landed their shark catch here, and mentions the remains of an old sailing vessel in the south of the bay. Little current and plenty of hard coral make it a strong night and macro site, with octopus, stonefish, scorpionfish and Spanish dancers. Eagle rays, napoleon wrasse and occasional mantas are seen along the edge.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
