Hole in the Wall

Hole in the Wall lies at the northern end of the Cannery Point reef outside Whalers Cove. Divers reach it by following the sand channel from the Worm Patch and turning left where the reef structure opens up. The hole itself is roughly a metre across, close to the bottom in a rock wall, and a car-sized boulder marks the spot. From here the Lone Metridium landmark and the deeper reefs to the west, such as Beto's Reef and the Three Sisters, can be reached. Most divers can get there from the Worm Patch on a single tank, and boats also reach it.
