Bluefish Cove
Bluefish Cove lies on the other side of Cannery Point from Whalers Cove and has no entry of its own: divers swim around the point or launch a kayak or small boat at the Whalers Cove ramp. Inside, a large sandy area is scattered with rocks and kelp, with boulders in the shallows, and visibility is often better than in Whalers Cove. At the mouth a series of pinnacles drops beyond 100 ft, covered in giant strawberry anemones and pink and purple hydrocorals, with walls, caves and canyons between them. The pinnacles are exposed to open-ocean conditions, so calm days are needed.
