Konstanz Hörnle
Divers enter at the Horn lido and swim out to the lido marker buoy before descending towards the middle of the lake. The shallow zone stays only about 1.5 to 2 m deep for a long way, so both dive centre guides advise taking a compass, and both call the site well suited to navigation practice. Once the slope begins it drops off fast, the bottom changes from gravel to mud, and pointed tree stumps of a drowned forest line the way down. Following them leads to a small rowing boat lying upside down inside a transport pontoon. Boat traffic is heavy just outside the bathing zone, so a surface marker buoy is recommended.
