Pengah Kecil

Also known as: Pengah

Pengah Kecil is usually dived on the side protected from the current, either along the walls of the south that drop past 40 m or along the north-western reef. Beyond the three pinnacles a sloping reef with large table corals reaches out like a finger, and baby white-tip reef sharks often rest under the tables. The walls are covered in corals and whip corals, with schools of fusiliers, bluefin trevally and colourful groupers. Banded sea kraits hunt in the staghorn beds of the shallows, and turtles, giant morays, bumphead parrotfish, Napoleon wrasse, nudibranchs and pygmy seahorses complete the list.
