Mawan

Also known as: Mauan

Mawan combines a white sand slope with hard corals and a garden of pastel soft corals. Two large cleaning stations draw manta rays, which can hover there for long periods while divers keep their distance. Even without mantas the site is rich, with cuttlefish, bamboo sharks, octopus, leaf scorpionfish, mantis shrimp, hairy shrimp, turtles and white-tip sharks. Depending on the tide it can be dived as a drift over the coral garden.
