Langkoi Rock
Langkoi Rock is hard to find on a calm day because it is not marked on most charts, and its sides plunge quickly into very deep water. Divers jump in up current, descend straight to the pinnacle and hold on to watch the action. Grey reef, white-tip and blacktip reef sharks gather here, and hammerheads are sometimes seen, especially from July to September. Swell and surge often build up against the rock, so operators only take experienced divers.
