Aeolus

The 409 ft ship was built as the attack cargo ship Turandot in 1945 and later converted into a cable repair ship. Storms in 1996 split the hull into three pieces and partly rolled it upright, which gives divers several levels and a few swim-through sections. Sand tiger sharks are often found inside the cable storage compartment, and barracuda and amberjacks school around the high structure. Limited penetration is possible, but the separate sections can make navigation hard in poor visibility. It lies close to the Spar and is often the second dive of a full-day charter.
