Allmannshausen Wasserwacht
Also known as: Wasserwacht · Wasserwacht (Allmannshausen) · Wasserwachtwand · Steilwand Wasserwacht · Allmanshausen - Wasserwacht
Divers go in just north of the Wasserwacht station and swim south past a mooring buoy until the edge of the wall appears, at around 12 m close to the shore and deeper further out. The wall drops in a series of short rock steps, and looking back up at the edge into the green light is one of the moments divers remember here. Burbot and eels hide in the cracks of the rock, perch gather in the shallows around 5 m from spring to autumn, and a bench fixed at the upper edge, known as the deco bench, helps with orientation. The rock carries on far below recreational limits, and a local dive club reminds visitors that ordinary sport diving ends at 40 m. Concrete slabs at about 3 m mark the slipway of the station on the way back.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
