Aliguay Island

Aliguay is a small island belonging to Dapitan City in the Sulu Sea, reached in about an hour by boat from the Dakak resort port. White sand beaches and coral reefs surround it, and it is an established marine sanctuary in the custody of the Philippine Navy. The resort dive centre, Dakak Aqua Sports, takes divers there for island dives and Discover Scuba Diving sessions, including overnight trips with camping on the island. Dolphins are sometimes seen on the crossing.
