Romy's Reef

Romy's Reef is dotted with coral mounds carrying enormous basket sponges. A fair selection of reef fish and invertebrates lives around them, and blue-spotted rays and a few turtles have been reported. Parts of the reef show coral damage and bare patches. The eastern side, however, has massive coral thickets that continue all the way to the neighbouring site Eskuelahan.
