Eskuelahan takes its name from the schools of fish that crowd the site. Snappers, jacks, rainbow runners and surgeonfish swarm here and tuna pass by now and then. Fish of all sizes feed at the site, so the city page calls it a centre of activity. Giant frogfish have also been sighted. Currents can be an issue, so the site is not recommended for novice divers.
