Palancar Gardens
The reef crest is a garden of coral heads with orange and purple sponges and many tropical fish, and towering spires covered in gorgonians stand at its outer edge. Below the crest large tunnels invite swim-throughs. Fish are more numerous towards the end of the dive in the shallows above the coral heads. Turtles are common, eagle rays visit in winter and reef sharks are sometimes seen in the depths. The shallow sections also please snorkellers.
