Palancar Caves
Deep fissures run under the coral towers, and sand slopes drop into the depths beside them. There are so many caves and canyons that divers never see all of them, even after several dives. Sponges and soft corals line the passages, and schools of small glassfish swirl in the darker parts. Turtles are common, and sharks and eagle rays are seen in season. Hamlets and red spotted hawkfish live in the coral near the top.
