Del Mar Caves

Also known as: Del Mar Cave

Del Mar Caves is one of several sites along the mainland side of western Santa Cruz Island where sea caves are cut into the cliffs. Large rocks spread across the cove lead down to a sandy bottom, with kelp in the shallows and mini walls along the rocks. Red gorgonians here often carry simnia snails. The caves themselves are best left alone without proper training.
