Pernera House Bay
Also known as: Magumaerha Bay - House Bay
The bay lies less than 80 m from the dive centre and has an uncrowded sandy beach with a shallow, easy entry. A breakwater shelters it, and the sandy shallows turn into stony bottom further out. It is used for Bubblemaker and Discover Scuba programmes, training and night dives. Trumpetfish, pipefish, squid, cuttlefish, barrel snails, crabs and soldierfish are typical, and turtles visit at times.
