The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority sank the collection after about a month of planning and a week of placing the objects. The shallow end starts with Willys jeeps in seagrass, followed by Ferret armoured cars, Scorpion light tanks, Chieftain tanks, a recovery crane, an ambulance and two more M42 Dusters. A field gun and two Cobra attack helicopters lie at the deep end around 25 to 28 m. The vehicles are being colonised by corals and sponges and attract lionfish, morays, octopus and schooling reef fish. The site was also chosen to take pressure off the natural reefs.
