Divers enter at the corner next to the harbour mouth and head diagonally left, or walk to the end of the spit and enter on its left side. The blocks carry sponges, small anemones and sea squirts and shelter edible crabs, lobsters, pipefish and sea slugs. Further left the blocks give way to sand with many flatfish, crabs, hermit crabs and shrimps. Diving in or in front of the harbour mouth is forbidden. Moby Dick advises diving only at low water, because at high water the current pulls divers away from the shore.
