Putti's Place
Also known as: Slurfje · Putti's Place / Slurfje
Divers cross the beach to just past the last small jetty, where a short shallow stretch quickly gives way to a steep slope reaching about 25 metres. The stone heaps and dike remains, some lying at right angles to the coast, are covered with sea carnations and dead man's fingers, and sand and oyster beds follow deeper down. Because the jetties make the shoreline irregular and the currents unpredictable, navigating without a compass is hard. The site is dived only at low-water slack, and north-westerly winds or anything above force four spoil it. A memorial stone on land honours the rescuer and pilot Frans Naerebout.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
