Yap Caverns
The caverns and chasms are cut into the coral and lit by skylights that send sunbeams into the depths. Whitetip reef sharks rest in sandy bowls inside the crevices, and grey reef sharks patrol the outer mini-wall. The amphitheatre is one of Yap's best macro sites, with porcelain crabs, dragonets, nudibranchs, leaf fish and ornate ghost pipefish. Big schools of bumphead parrotfish gather outside, and tuna and amberjack have been seen off the entrance. Asia Dive Site calls it the most popular site after the manta stations.
