Magic Kingdom
The gentle slope let the storm surge build, so the typhoon broke much of the lettuce and staghorn coral while nearby vertical walls were spared. The tougher hard corals survived, and the reef is regrowing. The rubble created hiding places for clouds of small reef fish, which attract schools of jacks and barracuda hunting for stragglers. Whitetip reef sharks and the odd grey reef shark patrol the reef, and ScubaGo mentions turtles resting under overhangs.
