Eagle's Nest
Also known as: Eagles Nest
Large coral heads stand in wide patches of white sand, a look Manta Ray Bay compares to the Caribbean. The bommie that gives the site its name sits on the plateau at around 15 m and sometimes has several eagle rays swimming around it. The plateau tapers down to a flat sand bottom at about 40 m. Turtles, stingrays and sharks are common, schools of barracuda appear now and then, and morays and lionfish are easy to find in the shallows.
