Divers settle at the cleaning station at only 5 to 7 m and watch the mantas being groomed by cleaner fish. The rays often pass just above the divers and move slowly around the station. From December to April the mantas court, and the station becomes a hub of their mating dances. ScubaGo describes the site as a hill of finger and plate corals on the channel edge with several cleaning stations.
