Rainbow Reef
Balconies of staghorn coral shelter the mandarinfish, which mate in the evening and draw photographers to the site. Mangroves nearby limit the coral growth compared with the outer reef, but a good range of hard corals remains. Lionfish, juvenile barracuda, eels, reef lobsters and pipefish live here. Octopus and cuttlefish can be found on the shallow sand patches. Divers Alert Network notes that inner reefs like this are used in the windy afternoons.
