Cherry Blossom Wall
The wall reaches much deeper than most of Yap's walls, which is why black coral and deep sea fans grow here, mostly below about 36 m. Just over the lip at around 18 m, crinoids and pink and purple soft corals join the hard corals. Reef fish crowd the top of the wall, while schooling gamefish and pelagics pass on the blue-water side. Vertical walls line both sides of Nimpal Inlet, whose shallow entrance keeps boats out.
