Goofnuw Mini Wall
Walls from about 9 to 30 m alternate with sandy and coral slopes, and large coral heads just off the wall draw plenty of fish. Halfway along, the channel narrows and a white sand floor rises to about 9 m, where many whitetip reef sharks rest; 10 to 20 sharks on one drift are not unusual and leopard sharks turn up now and then. Past this shallow section the bottom drops again and opens into the Valley of the Rays. Because it is the only passage into the valley, mantas pass through on their way to the cleaning stations. Lobsters shelter under ledges on the channel's south side.
