Secca di Capo Poro
The descent is made in open water among damselfish and bream until the top appears, already crowded with big morays and colourful sponges. The steep walls carry dense red gorgonians, sometimes with feather stars attached. Cracks lower down hold branches of red coral, large lobsters, gurnards and scorpionfish. A separate rock just off the main shoal is especially rich in life. Depth, the blue-water descent and likely current make it a dive for experienced divers.
