Knife Rock
Knife Rock, named after its blade-like shape, rises out of the water just outside the Pigeon Island park boundary. The south face has rocky coral formations with reef fish, where octopus and pufferfish are often found. The north side has more boulders and coral, home to moray eels of several species and colours. Cleaner shrimps work the anemones, and relics of the civil war, unexploded mortar rounds, lie in places on the seabed. International Diving School gives a maximum depth of 18 m and mentions the occasional blacktip reef shark.
