Qab Miyum
Also known as: Gab Miyum
Qab Miyum is part of the southern Suakin group and is best known for the stepped wall at its southern point. Plateaus at around 6 m, 25 m and 45 m give divers vantage points over the large schools of jacks and barracuda moving past. Hammerhead sharks often patrol the edge of the wall. Scuba Diving reports a dive here surrounded by about twenty curious silky sharks, and Dive The World lists it among the deep south sites with very good chances of hammerheads and silky sharks.
