Karam Masamirit

Also known as: Karan Masamirit

Karam Masamirit has a plateau on its south-eastern side at an average depth of about 22 m, framed by deeper walls. Its centrepiece is a giant mushroom-shaped coral head draped in soft corals of every colour. Large schools of surgeonfish, fusiliers, jacks, sardines and barracuda swirl around it. Turtles, stingrays, tuna and morays are common, and young silky sharks, whitetip reef sharks and hammerheads also appear. Blue Force mentions Napoleon wrasse along its walls.
