Andre's Reef
Also known as: Andres Reef
Andre's Reef is one of the two dives on the Buck Island Wall, the north side of Buck Island south of St. Thomas. Divers start over shallow sand and swim to a drop-off whose ledge attracts fish and turtles. A coral slope with gorgonian gardens then leads down to about 75 ft, where schools of fish are common. Aqua Action's description of the Buck Island Wall in general also mentions old machinery from the 1960s lying on the wall.
