Le Trou du Lagon
Also known as: Lagoon Hole
Le Trou du Lagon is a natural basin of about 30 m inside the lagoon of Tahiti Iti, in front of Toahotu, which Tahiti Tourisme likens to a giant swimming pool. The dive runs from about 9 to 27 m. Scorpionfish, sea anemones, spotted eagle rays and whitetip reef sharks are reported. Wannadive rates the current as low and opens the site to divers from the first certification level.
