Arorangi Drop Off

Also known as: Arorangi drops

The site lies near the small Arorangi pass that drains the lagoon. Big Porites bommies are scattered over the slope and are the main scenery. Because currents are common, eagle rays and bigger hunters are seen here, and Pacific Divers has spotted schooling eagle rays. It is a good starting point for a drift along the coast.
