Lao Lao

Also known as: Lau Lau Reef

Lao Lao is a submerged mount in the Dampier Strait, a short ride from the Gam resorts. Its cleaning station is at times visited by oceanic manta rays, and Biodiversity Resort calls it a good place to see mantas in season. Large schools of barracuda, snapper and fusiliers swirl around it, while Kuhl's rays rest on the sand. Wobbegong sharks, sweetlips and giant morays live on the reef, and grey reef sharks and eagle rays pass in the blue. ScubaGo notes that divers can finish on the neighbouring Mioskon reef.
