Malong Bay

Also known as: Turtle Rock

The site lies at the southern end of Palong Bay, just north of Maya Bay, and is dived mainly between December and May. A terraced reef of hard and soft corals and sea fans slopes down to about 20 m. Hawksbill turtles are seen on most dives, and leopard sharks, octopus, cuttlefish and schools of snappers are also common. Current is rarely an issue, although close to the entrance of Maya Bay it can draw divers inside.
