Whalebone

Whalebone is a favourite of local divers on the western side of South Muiron Island. Large swim-throughs and overhangs are lined with soft corals and packed with transparent glass fish. Because it is only about 8 m deep, plenty of light reaches the reef. At night feather stars and other echinoderms come out, which makes it a popular night dive on liveaboard trips. The site has a mooring buoy to protect the coral.
