Nor-West Reef

Nor-West Reef sits roughly 1.3 nautical miles off the tip of North West Cape, and its rugged reef has wrecked ships in the past. Divers explore its eastern edge, a mix of ledges, overhangs, coral bommies, gullies and small caves. Tawny nurse sharks and reef sharks shelter in this structure, and turtles, manta rays, eagle rays and now and then a potato cod are seen. The site needs the right tide, swell and sea state, so it is visited only occasionally.
