Ras Sarkan North

Ras Sarkan guards the southern entrance of Habalayn Bay. The dive starts inside the bay with the reef on the right shoulder and follows a gradual coral slope that becomes a vertical wall at the headland. Schools of barracuda, jackfish, batfish and fusiliers gather here, with turtles, stingrays and marble rays below and the odd whitetip reef shark. A fishing net on the point is an entanglement risk, and the area is busy with local speedboats.
