Al Batinah

Also known as: Al Batinah Wreck

Al Batinah is a former Omani navy vessel that was sunk deliberately in early 2023 to create a new dive site. The hull is around 30 m long and lies on a sandy bottom. Several openings allow short penetrations that feel more like swim-throughs. Musandam Discovery Diving usually ends the dive on a small reef across the sand from the wreck. Moray eels and schools of snapper have already settled on it.
