Marsa Shouna

Several dives are possible: a one-way dive from the northern wall back to the mooring, the coral blocks in the shallows under the boat, a coral garden on the south side and the seagrass itself. Turtles are common on the seagrass, and dugongs are seen at times. Among the coral blocks crocodilefish, stonefish, scorpionfish and octopus lie camouflaged. Liveaboards use the sheltered bay as a check dive and as a refuge when offshore reefs are closed by weather.
