Marsa Mubarak

The mooring sits over a shallow coral garden of small blocks and pinnacles. The north side has a fringing reef with a drop-off that can be drifted back to the boat, and the south side holds another extensive coral garden with room for several dives. Between them the seagrass draws big green turtles, rays and occasionally the dugong. Operators from Port Ghalib split the bay into several named sub-sites with pinnacles, caverns and coral gardens. The calm water suits snorkellers as well as divers of all levels.
