Motu Nui

Motu Nui is a site in Taiohae Bay, about ten minutes by boat from the quay. Rocky blocks and boulder fields hold cleaning stations where rays come to be cleaned. Schools of bluestripe snappers and mimic goatfish swim over the rocks, and dragon morays and slate pencil urchins live between them, along with many endemic species. Nuku Dive describes it as sheltered all year with only occasional current and takes divers from Level 1 or Open Water.
