Überlingen Liebesinsel

Also known as: Liebesinsel Überlingen · Liebesinsel

Stone steps give an easy entry, and the lake bed falls away quickly. A pipe starting at 6 to 7 m guides divers down a steep slope to the wall, which begins at about 28 m and drops almost vertically beyond 45 m before turning into slope again. At about 50 m a rock riddled with hollows looks like a giant beam fixed to the wall. Heading west at 30 to 40 m for around 25 minutes brings divers to the Post site along a fissured wall where burbot shelter and char gather in winter, while to the east a large tree trunk reaches out to about 45 m.
