Estrella
Paradise Scuba describes Estrella as a wide sandy avenue with many smaller side lanes, each separated by tall ridges of reef rock topped with soft corals. The bottom is remarkably level: the shallowest point lies at about 55 ft and the deepest only some five feet lower. The simple layout makes the site friendly for newer divers while still offering enough life to interest experienced ones. Nassau grouper, southern stingrays, nurse sharks and yellowfin goatfish are the species divers are likely to meet. One of the shop's divemasters compares the Canyons sites on the wall to a much bigger version of this reef.
