Chimney

Also known as: Chimney Reef

Chimney is a non-wall dive on a reef plateau above the drop-off. Its feature is a small cavern whose opening leads upward like a fireplace flue, so divers enter low and come out on top of the reef. Orange encrusting corals frame the entrance, large clinging crabs live in it and green moray eels patrol the area above. Gorgonians, sea fans, black coral and colourful sponges cover the rocks, with hogfish, triggerfish, blue hamlets and barracuda around. Other passages and small tunnels add to the swim-through character of the site.
